Each card has a $5.00 threshold for overdue fines.
Access computers or check account (to renew materials) from home using the card’s barcode # (as “User ID”) and your default PIN# (which is 1-2-3-4):
Non Resident Cards can be purchased, as quarterly- or annual-memberships: $25 / 3-months or $100 / year.
These are for residents of communities outside of The Library Network‘s map of participating libraries. (See here). Non-Resident Cards are valid only at the Ferndale Public Library’s location.
If you are employed in Ferndale – you can obtain a library card – but you need to provide proof of employment -by way of a recent paystub or a note from your employer (with place of business’ address denoted).
If you are a student or your child attends school inside the Ferndale School System -you/they can obtain their own cards (good for one year, and good only at the Ferndale Public Library location).

Access The Library Network through our web site. Place holds on items online (User ID + PIN) or check-out E-BOOKS / Audiobook MP3s (they return themselves, two weeks after you download files)
