The Ferndale Library took a notable leap into the future when it launched the HOOPLA Digital app for patrons last in March. The library staff are all excited about this new media service, because it’s easy to use and provides their patrons instant access, with no waiting, to any titles they want.

Patrons are limited to downloading (or streaming) up to 3 titles per month, but the range of selection is remarkable: nearly half a million titles, from six different formats: Movies, TV, Music Albums, eAudiobooks, eBooks, and Comics/Graphic Novels.

The HOOPLA app makes it easy to access all of these types of media from one place! Once you check it out, just open the app and there it is. If you like a title and want to revisit it later, simply “favorite” it and it’ll go on your list to check out another time.

To register and start downloading titles, Ferndale cardholders can download the HOOPLA digital app from your Apple App or Google Play store on your mobile device. If you are using a computer, you may visit https://www.hoopladigital.com/home.

Let’s take a look at some excellent new releases, with popular film soundtracks downloadable as MP3 albums.
