The DIY Street Fair is one of our favorite events of the year. September 25-27 brings three days’ worth of excellent live music to Troy St, soundtracking a stroll through two parking lots filled with dozens of tents featuring handmade crafts from local artists.

There is also plenty of specialty local brew on tap and the Ferndale Library will have it’s very own beer tent (at the edge of our courtyard). All tips made from the beer served at this tent benefit the Ferndale Library. Beer for Books! Cheers, to that!
But we need your help! The Friends of the Ferndale Library have been offered the opportunity by the DIY Street Fair organizers to raise funds and support the Ferndale Area District Library as volunteer bartenders for the weekend (Sept 25-27). Not only will we be pouring beer in the Troy Street Beer Tent, but new this year, we will be pouring wine in a wine tent located inside the library courtyard!
This is an easy and really fun way to raise needed funds for the library and a great way to enjoy the festival. Please consider donating your time for a shift or two. If you sign up, you’ll receive an email in advance with more details and instructions about your volunteer shift. Thank you!!
