THANK YOU: Library Benefit Concert a Big Success

From the bottom of our hearts… …We’d like to thank everyone who came out to the Loving Touch last Friday to support the Ferndale Library at our Benefit Concert.

We’d also like to thank the Loving Touch and its excellent & helpful staff. We’d like to thank our generous sponsor, Pabst Blue Ribbon, as well.

But we’d especially like to thank the lineup of local bands and musicians who donated their voices and melodic gifts to the library by-way-of some powerful performances. Thank you to Eddie Logix, Kriss Gaynes, MISTER, Ancient Language, Chris Bathgate, Woven Tangles and 800beloved.

AND, once again, thank YOU… Thank you, Ferndale. We raised $1,462 dollars in one night; our most successful benefit concert to date!

The funds raised from this concert will go to purchase dozens of popular new titles to our adult, teen and juvenile fiction collections. The next book you check out from the library might just have a special Benefit Concert sticker on the inside flap – that’s all thanks to the crucial support we received from Ferndale, from the local music scene and from library lovers throughout the region.

Can we say Thank You, one more time?

Thank you.
