Read, move and explore with Ms. Ashley and Mr. Jordan during these weekly story celebrations for the entire family.

Six-week session.
No registration required.
All ages welcome.

Family Storytime is an ideal way to spend a summer evening – hear a story, play with some legos, clap-along and sing-along to some nice music! And don’t forget to fill out your Summer Reading Calendar! (Have you signed up yet? Let’s go!! Summer’s almost halfway-gone!)


It IS Rocket Science, actually!



Last Saturday was a BLAST thanks to the Michigan Science Center! They put on a cool program about combustibles called BOOM BOOM WOW!  The Michigan Science Center returns on July 26th with “Rocket Science 101” Mark your calendars.

The Michigan Science Center returns to help you make your very own rocket.

Blast off with us and create rockets while learning about chemical reactions! This hands-on program will have kids doing experiments all by themselves. We’ll show off a few other spectacular demonstrations that will leave everyone craving more science!

Ages 6-12
Registration is required. 30 person limit. Ferndale residents receive priority. Registration begins 6/14/2014. Call the Children’s Desk to register at : 248-546-2504
