On May 30, 2014 the Friends of the Ferndale Library host their own Pride Prom – open to anyone 21 and older,  complete with a DJ, dancing, decorations, complementary nibbles, and a cash bar with beer, wine, and a special Prom cocktail. We’ll even elect a Prom Court.

Show your pride!

Pride Prom, presented by Friends of the Ferndale Library, will feature dancing with a live DJ, formal photos by Nan Kerr Mueller, a crowning of the royal court, and more! The Pride Prom will be catered by local favorites such as Pinwheel Bakery, and our fabulous Pride Punch will be served (yes, it will be spiked!). Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Free on-site babysitting will be provided by members of Ferndale High School’s Gay-Straight Alliance. The prom will be on Friday, May 30th from 8 to midnight. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at http://ferndalefriends.org/prom. All proceeds benefit the Ferndale Public Library.
