Game Day (and Candy!)

Game Day @ the Library! Saturday, October 13, 2012 At 02:00 PM

This is a way patrons can focus on the social and recreational side of “gaming.”  Learn new games and play old favorites. Come alone or bring your friends and family. Interact with diverse peers, share in their expertise and develop new strategies for gaming and learning. Local game enthusiasts will be on hand to teach new games and play along. No experience required.

According to the ALA, Game Days (at Libraries) allow kids to socialize with their friends and play fun, interractive games “while surrounded by books, librarians and a real world of knowledge.”  ~~All ages welcome (but, children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

FYI – Accepting Candy Donations! (Pretty Please)… for our upcoming Halloween SPOOKTACULAR!

Come trick-or-treating through the Library and enjoy live music and activities! (But first…we need to stock up on the essentials: CANDY!!) Donations are highly appreciated (preferences/info below)
