A Movieable Feast – Series debuts June 27th

For those with great tastes, both cinematic and culinary – or for those looking to broaden their palettes beyond the, shall I say, less-sophisticated-fare of mega-multiplexes or fast-food peddlers  – The Ferndale Public Library is hosting “A Movieable Feast”

With our latest film series (curated by current Interim Director Ed Burns)- we pair foreign films with foreign food: the catered supper features food from the corresponding region of origin for any evening’s highlighted filmmaker.

On June 27th, we’ll screen 1990’s magnificent and mesmeric Dreams , one of the final directorial efforts by Akira Kurosawa (of Seven Samurai-renown), and thus pair it with Japanese food from Inyo Restaurant and Lounge
