On Tuesday, May 10 (6:30 pm) we have Teen Book Discussion Group – digesting the nuances of Feed by M.T. Anderson- Barnes & Noble said: “Brave New World takes a romantic teen twist in this disarming, engrossing novel set in a hyper-computerized future.”


That same day, May 10, we have “Gardening In The Urban Yard” Backyard and container gardening for novices.  Presented by Ferndale Environmental Sustainability Commission.


Our Science Fiction Book Club is meeting Wednesday, May 11, 2011 At 07:00 PM – – to discuss – Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein – from GoodReads: “According to Heinlein, the novel’s working title was The Heretic. Several later editions of the book have promoted it as “The most famous Science Fiction Novel ever written.”


Then– Saturday May 14 from 12 to 4:30 – Metro Detroit Gamers Present Impromptu Board Game Saturday
